Wow, that's pretty disrespectful shit right there. It's funny how people bash on things they really know nothing about. It's pretty safe to say my father has taught quite a few people how to make surfboards. See, it's in his makeup to share his knowledge. He's been sharing from the early days on the North Shore up to the present. Until you have something worthwhile to share, sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up. BTW, the unedited version of that picture could only have been obtained up on the hill, it is actually my board that I have down in Nicaragua. People like zorro are the reason why the industry is so fucked. Teaching a craft is called progression people. Wake the fuck up.

My first board was a 6'3" Eberly in 1988. I abused the shit out of that board, and repaired it many times over. I still have it- it still floats without draining out later. Over the years, I have ridden many boards from various shapers. Not once have I purchased the same board twice, nor from the same shaper. After over twenty years in the water, I have now returned to a 9'6" Eberly nose rider and couldn't be happier. I don't know Tom, or his family, or even of his dealings in the industry... but what I do know is that he has contributed to the industry more than this surf zero has or ever will, myself included. As for price, you have all lost your damn minds out there. The industry contradicts the lifestyle everyday. WE should ALL go fuck OURSELVES for allowing it to happen. Shape a log and shove it up your ass, surfnomorro.

Eberly is Hans down a true legend American shaper. A Picasso of the shaping art form. Therefore, who gives a fuck if the board is 400$ or a 1000$. Be happy you are lucky enough to ride am Eberly and enjoy the ride.

Tom Eberly shaped me my first custom board for a trip to New Zealand. A white Lightening Bolt. Still my favorite board. Later.
